چکیده

We discuss a number of old and new methods for computing K → ππ amplitudes on the lattice. They all involve a non-perturbative determination of matching coefficients. We show how problems related to operator mixing can be greatly reduced by using point-split hadronic currents.

The spin-dependent structure functions g 1 (x), g 2 (x), g W W 2 (x) and ¯ g 2 (x) and their moments are studied in the CM bag model. The results show that (i) 1 0 g 2 (x)dx = 0, i.e. the Burkhardt-Cottingham sum rule holds, hence g 2 (x) must have at least one non-trivial zero besides x = 0 and x = 1. 1 0 x 2 g 2 (x)dx is negative for the proton, neutron and deuteron. D ec 1 99 8 Matrix elements relevant for ∆ I = 1 / 2 rule and ε ′ / ε from Lattice QCD with staggered fermions

We perform a study of matrix elements relevant for the ∆I = 1/2 rule and the direct CP-violation parameter ε ′ /ε from first principles by computer simulation in Lattice QCD. We use staggered (Kogut-Susskind) fermions, and employ the chiral perturbation theory method for studying K 0 → ππ decays. Having obtained a reasonable statistical accuracy, we observe an enhancement of the ∆I = 1/2 amplit...

We support the idea that the baryon, B with mass MB, couples to its current with a coupling λB ∼ 0.71 M 6 B from an analysis of magnetic moment sum rules. And we find a sum rule among the experimental magnetic moments which is independent of the parameters of QCDSR.

It is well-known that the isomorphism classes of complex Enriques surfaces are in 1-1 correspondence with a Zariski-open subset (D − H)/Γ of the quotient of the Hermitian symmetric space D for O(2, 10). Here H is a totally geodesic divisor in D and Γ is a certain arithmetic group. In the usual formulation of this result [5], Γ is described as the isometry group of a certain integral lattice N o...

A number of old and new methods for computing K → ππ amplitudes on the lattice are reevaluated. They all involve a non-perturbative determination of matching coefficients. I will show how problems related to operator mixing can be greatly reduced by introducing the O.P.E. of hadronic currents directly on the lattice. Applications to the evaluation of CP-symmetric (∆I = 1/2 rule) and CP-violatin...
